Just saw a TikTok complaining about ‘kitten’ as a pet name in fanfiction and while I do agree with their discomfort on that one the comments were FULL of people mentioning all the other common pet names ?? Like honey babe baby sweetheart etc ?? Is your partner just supposed to call you by your name the whole time ????????

I've been re-reading Grim Tales (again) and something that has bugged me with the story keeps popping inside my head. I'm not good with explaining shit so bear with me.
The story is sorta feel less like a Billy and Mandy story and more like a Cartoon Network crossover fanfic.
Like we have Billy, whose death I would argue cause the Grim Tales timeline to start properly since without him Mansy just gets even more worse (how is that even possible???/lh) and it felt like he was the glue of the trio that kept everyone together.
And after Grim's diary explanation, he pretty much disappears. There's probably some name drop in later chapters, but bro becomes irrelevant.
Other characters like Eris only appear once in a reference panel, and then never actually appear in the story.
Hoss and Irwin dies.
Nergal dies (sorta???)
Boogey and Creeper are non-canon and also dies
The only still alive characters from B&M I can think of is Nergal Junior, Lord Pain and Cerberus.
Idk i like the crossovers and the idea of the Underworld being a bunch of realms ruled by different villains
But when I read something called GRIM TALES which its premise is centered around the adventures of Grim and Mandy's children, I would expect very B&M centered stuff rather than entire characters focused on random crossover characters, OCs, or crossover OCs.
