Solveig Trulson App for WOR
♙Pawns must leap into the fray and for SOLVEIG TRULSON, the THIRTY-ONE-year old GUARD that is a tradition SHE intends to keep. To others, SHE looks an awful lot like IMOGEN POOTS and has been described as being EASILY UNDERESTIMATED but behind closed doors, SHE is DEFFENSIVE AND STUBBORN but also CARING AND LOYAL. Most importantly though, SHE is a loyal REBEL. (Nat/26/PST/She-Her)

Please provide three headcanons about your character:
She has no problem kicking your ass. Undeniably a bit of a spit-fire, Solveig has a temper of legendary proportions. While she holds a sacred few close to her heart, just about everyone else is free game so far as she's concerned. Pick on her height, gender, or abilities and she'll quickly put you in your place, citizen, royal, or rebel alike. At the end of the day though, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone more loyal to the people they love. Unfortunately for Solveig, she finds her heart split on opposite sides of a secret war.
A mistake made on a drunken night spawned an illegitimate heir. Astrid Esmee Juliana Trulson, a young girl of only 14 years that lives in Norway with her aunt and uncle; entirely clueless about her royal lineage. In fact, it wasn't until October 2120 that even the girl's father, the crown prince of the Netherlands Matthias Meijer, was aware that he had a daughter. Solveig's taken every precaution to keep her child out of both the media and harm's way. A threat from a king kept her from telling her best friend that he was a father, a point that seems to have fully derailed most of her life. Going back though, she wouldn't change anything. What she did kept her family, her daughter, and while he might not want to admit it, Matthias, safe.
Natural. Born. Killer. Solveig comes from a long Scandinavian line that can trace family ties back to Old Norse legends. At least on her father's side, and he made sure his children knew it well. That's not the only thing Trulson's are known for though, her family has been in the royal guard business since the great war. Solveig started training to fight when she was only three and hasn't stopped since then. She fell in love with it, and proud to be able to defend her best friend as they got older. While she wishes her little brother could have risen to the same level as she was fighting, she does take a good amount of pride in seeing him branch off and find his own way in life.
Please provide two or more connection ideas for your character:
An Old Flame - This would be someone Solveig met many years ago. She would have insisted on keeping it casual, not looking for an emotional attachment or commitment. For whatever reason though, he has to leave abruptly, and after he was out of her life, she comes to realize maybe she did feel something. It's been years now though, and the only the she feels after bottling it up for so long is resentment that he left.
The Bullying Victim - this would be someone she saw quite a bit as a child. Being raised by a royal guard and around Matthias she's seen more than a few dignitaries and foreign royals in her time. As much of a handful as she is now, she was much much worse in her youth. This would be someone she deemed weak and an easy mark, that anytime they were together she'd bully and take advantage of. Don't bother trying to tell her father about that, his perfect girl wouldn't do such a thing.
Please answer the following questions IC:
What made you decide to take a job at the fortress? Initially? Matthias and Katrien are here, as well as a couple others who I have found I...enjoy. Though the more days that pass, I sometimes find myself wondering why it is I stay.
Where do you originally call home? The Netherlands. I was born and raised there, though of course if you were to ask Papa, we are Norwegian Vikings through and through.
What is the most important thing in your suitcase? Astrid gave me a necklace quite a few years ago now, it says World's Best Mama on it. I am not sure it is accurate, but I do cherish it. I suppose second place would be a tie between the locket Mattias gave me for my birthday this year and the pendant I got from my father when I turned 16 and was formally admitted into the rebellion.
