Kaladin when he needs to keep himself from suicidally spiralling, drag 20 men out of apathy and keep them alive while the System they're in actively wants them to die and won't give them anything to stop it: 🙄😕 probably doable
Kaladin when he needs to ride a horse: 😰
Characters bonded with spren will have you shouting at them to hurry up with their character development so they can reach level thirty and unlock their spren's tragic backstory and adjacent lore like they're some kind of trainer-pokémon pair meets otome game character
Urithiru sketch (forgot too look for a reference oops)
". . .On the second day, he declared that he needed a rock.”
“A . . . rock.”
“He hopped out of the wagon and found one, then he hit himself on the head with it.
Did it three or four times.
Came right back to the wagon with an odd grin, and said . . ."
One trope that will always get me is when people give Shallan a Mom figure. Sometimes it’s Navani (sometimes it’s even Jasnah) but like, really, imagine the bond growing between Shallan and Navani. And Shallan realizing all the things that moms are supposed to do or say.
Getting a hug from Navani, who met Shallan as the teenager who brought her daughter’s death while betrothed to her nephew. Healing the guilt of their first interaction through emotional scholarly bonding the way Navani always wanted from Jasnah. Veil gossiping to Navani while Radiant helps her plan lab schedules, while Shallan sits and lets the realization wash over her that she is loved, truly and unconditionally, by a parent. idk maybe it’s just me but that shit squeezes my heart to bits
[The "wash your sister" sauce. The "Wor-ces-ter-shire." You know how to say that? "Wor-she-sher-sher-shire." "Wor-shter-shire."]
