Watching the live results of the PCC elections

People are so uninformed, saying they didn't know who the candidates were etc - well! It's not hard to look them up, to find out.

But maybe we should ask why there is so much voter apathy in this country? We went mental over the US election, but our PCC elections have gone largely ignored with voter turnouts of under 20% in many areas. It's a bit of a shambolic election, obviously timed so that people wouldn't really notice, I think the Government understands that a lot of people don't think PCCs are a useful idea at all. They should have taken a vote on that before the election, I think.
