OPEN TO MULTIPLE REPLEIS
Lorna’s boots crunched underfoot as she trekked into camp, duffel bag slung over her shoulder, having passed the checks for infection. She looked around the camp, head held high as she went. But as she did, despite her outward confidence, her eyes scanned every person she saw, looking for those she’d been separated from. Family. Members of the Underground. Anyone from before.
“Excuse me,” she said, catching someone nearby’s attention. “I’m looking for the accomodation.” It had been a long hike here, and she was tired and hungry. A nap and a meal were her top priorities. That, and finding out who was here.
Ororo’s characteristic white hair was hidden beneath a brightly printed, crown-twisted scarf to keep it out of the way, which made her a bit less recognisable from behind. She turned at the question, and a wide grin found its way onto her face. “Lorna! I am so glad that you found us!”
While Lorna would have been treated to a hot shower and fresh clothes when she was checked for infection, she looked exhausted. “Let me see where I can get you settled. Or would you rather have something to eat first?”
