her body was exhausted. if it weren’t for the extra power karolina would have definitely passed out by now. however the warmth in her skin that was starting to feel like a burn, and how the lights that were once beautiful felt overwhelming. still, if anything this was an afterthought, the annoyance from it only fueling the anger she was working with. she had been flying above the city, skin still rainbow as she looked around for something she could possibly occupy herself with. blowing up cars had been fun for a little while, but eventually it had grown old. she needed something bigger, better. when she spotted a boy out alone she couldn’t help but grin, swooping forward and landing down in front of him quickly. she was silent for a moment, just glancing over him before raising a perfectly tweezed eyebrow. “oh, you’re a little young to be running around on your own aren’t you?” the words were ones of concern however karolina’s tone didn’t match. there was amusement and something more snide and dangerous edging into her voice. “especially with all the dangers on the streets right now.” dangers she was a part of. still, clearly he hadn’t cared enough about that. she would just have to teach him the lesson the hard way then.
