It was weird wearing her undersuit again, but knowing she wasn’t going to put on her power suit. Even on her so called Zero Mission where she was left with a destroyed suit for a short amount of time she knew with enough searching she’d get it back, here her suit was her so called persona. A really ironic fate really, it was meant to enhance her powers, make Samus powerful. But instead it became her identity, it became Samus.
Much like how things were back in her own universe, the demons were trying to make her do something, but obviously too scared to do more than just yell at her. She knew how threatening she always looked, it was from years of wearing that cold and empty shell that she became it, and with that she went from looking like a woman who saw too much, to a woman who knew nothing except violence. And sadly, that’s how she was.
With a great sigh, Samus put on a different jacket than normal, it was a bomber jacket. It had the symbol of the chozo on it’s back and a screw attack symbol on the front. IT was supposed to represent her, a fan mae it and she grew a liking to it quickly.
Shoving her hands in the jackets pockets, she did a check to make sure her stun gun was on her leg firmly and walked out of her house, to the pit, and stopped. She stared at it for a bit, not knowing what to expect, but she jumped.
Upon landing she found herself in a place that reminded her almost of home, with the beautiful but dark jungle. The only difference was there was a sky. Despite her perfect landing (that mind you, was very graceful for such a jump) Samus still looked disappointed in something.
Perhaps she knew this time being alone was no option. She was too weak by herself without her suit.
“This is shit.”
