“Samus…? Oh, hey…” Adachi looked up, watching the dissatisfied bounty hunter approach him. He sat on the cold, stone ground, obviously in despair about something. A shadow was behind him, unmoving, steadily dissolving into the air. Adachi held his pistol in his hands, sluggishly loading more rounds in.
“It’s kind of irritating you know, having something once dear to you, now attempting to stab you in the back,” He sighed, clicking his his revolver back into place. Getting up, Adachi brushed himself off, twirling his gun between his fingers.
“But who cares, I want out of this place,” He shrugged, walking up to Samus, “So, which way are you headed? I wouldn’t mind escorting a lady like yourself, haha,” Adachi smiled, now in what seemed to be a whole new mood.
“Hm....” Samus kept silent for a bit, staring at Adachi for a bit.
“You can follow me. For some odd reason your shittiness grew on me. I’m going to the temple though. It reminds me of home.” The last bit, albeit a little personal, was her reason to heading toward.
“I feel like I’m back on Zebes again. It’s weird. I’m almost expecting my dads to greet me like nothing happened.” She mumbled a little, shoving her hands in the pockets of the jacket around her waist.
Looking off to the temple, her frown became a little sadder than pissed off. “Maybe I should pray before I enter the temple. I don’t want to anger the gods...”
