Summer 2024 - Maybe We Can Just Pretend - After Yue Qingyuan rescues Shen Qingqiu from the water prison, both of them struggle with the aftermath, and their fears for the future. Sometimes, comfort can be had even if it seems impossible to find.
Autumn 2024 - Watching from a Distance, Longing to Approach - Shen Qingqiu is dead, but his body is inhabited by another soul that cannot be uprooted-- realizing that this impostor has everyone fooled, he makes a deal with the underworld officials so that he can return to tell Yue Qingyuan of the deception-- but it won't be as easy as he had hoped.

Shen Qingqiu is absolutely not okay with any of this… but he finds it hard to pin down exactly why.
