Never in her life, this one or the last one did she ever think she would actually see someone fly and throw a punch so hard it would send someone flying. She was impressed and that was not even giving the other woman enough credit for her skills. In awe as she pressed button on bo-staff before it was carefully slid into black boot. Smile befalling light lips before shaking of her head in the slightest, dumbstruck maybe was another word to describe how she felt before a small chuckle. ❝ You really aren’t from around here. I don’t think this has ever happened in Star City before. I take it you’re the supergirl barry and ollie won’t shut up about. ❞

        “ fair enough, ”  you’ll give her that — people aren’t exactly known for being HONEST, you know that as well as anyone else, you’ve experienced it, lived it for years,  “ but i’m not lying to you now. chewie is one hundred percent not a cat. believe me, i was as shocked as you are right now. ”  it’s funny, watching chewie  ( your FLERKEN CAT, that’s what you’ve taken to calling her ever since you found out ) absolutely loving on kara, soaking up all the attention the other alien will give her,  “ i thought it was funny, y’know? the alien ending up with the alien. ”

          crossed legged and entirely at home on kara’s couch, nia leans over and scoops up a handful of the blonde’s popcorn and tosses them in her mouth, chewing absently as she watches the scene on the television. ❝ do you ever just get the urge to go all happy feet when you’re happy? i’m not saying that i do, but it would just... feel so good to just tap it out. i love this movie, ❞ she then adds, completely seriously, as she eats more popcorn.
