Happy anniversary to the Time Raandyy and the Faandiies brought peace to World of Warcraft (Azeroth, I think?) forever and ended all the war and fighting there. This series is my only knowledge of Warcraft but this occasion is well worth celebrating.

acts of kindness make me emotional. what acts you ask? well you see it all started in episode 1 of peacecraft on polygon dot youtube dot com when yrai the explorer gave raandyy 8 copper and ended with me crying in my room at 2am when griffin sent all of raandyy's money back to that person in the final episode

i love the fact that some random other player of world of warcraft gave griffin/raandyy 8 copper at the beginning of the game and then by the end of peacecraft, raandyy repaid his debt to that player after conquering the known world

Rewatching Peacecraft to cope with Brian leaving and remind myself that even if a series is over it is not dead is self care actually

peacecraft was amazing, i put off watching it for a while when i was first getting into polygon stuff like “oh i dont know anything about w.o.w. and it seems boring blah blah” but ive watched it multiple times now because its just very good to learn about a game by watching someone play it so so badly, and to see the collaborative storytelling/dynamics that naturally evolves from getting a community involved, and also its just funny!

Just binged Griffin's entire Polygon peacecraft series and I feel like my soul has been cleansed

Best moment in Peacecraft was when Griffin and his posse demanded to know who murdered the enemy gnome only for a goblin-looking dude called Murderboy to type in the chat "I did the murder."

And then everyone stopped fighting the enemy NPCs, circled Murderboy, and shamed him for his murder crimes.
