Hey kiddos!

if you live somewhere where it gets really humid in the spring/summer, then you know that it probably either has been and/or is going to be storm season, and if you’re like me (i’m scared of thunder and lightning storms) then I have a couple things that can help you relax and stay calm when the storms come around!

☔ keep your favorite stuffie with you! they’ll help protect you and give you lots and lots of comforting hugs

☔ wrap yourself up in a blanket! it’ll keep you nice and cozy and help you feel safe and sound

☔ watch your favorite movie/show! focusing on the characters will help distract and keep you occupied

☔ in the same kind of area, you can color or do an indoor activity that you like! this can be anything, ranging from coloring a picture, to making a bracelet, to cooking if you like to, anything you take interest in

☔ take a nap if you can! curl up with a stuffie and a blanket and sleep the storm clouds away, then the sun will come out and shine all over again

☔ last but not least, you can read a book, a novel you like or a book for little kiddos, or you can use your stuffies and toys to make your own story and bring it to life!

I know storms are scary, and they can be loud and overwhelming, but they’ll pass eventually, then it’s all sunshiney again
