Had a really interesting fic idea that I thought I’d share.

So. Horner took over RB in 2005, yes?

Well, consider the possibility that in 2005, his autistic daughter was around 7-8 years old.

She’s selectively mute. Incredibly shy.

But she sneaks into his home office one afternoon, looking for her comfort blanket that she’d lost, and instead finds piles of unfinished paperwork, driver options, car specs, etc.

And it looks like fun, so she steals it.

All of it.

Her father finds her hours later in her bedroom, surrounded by his highly confidential paperwork, and scolds her for taking things from his office without asking first.

But she just stares at him, stimming with her hands in her carpet, and chews on her lip until it starts to bleed.

Feeling guilty, he asks “did you have fun?”.

And thus begins the saga that RBR would come to know as the ‘Zara Horner Aquisition’

Why?

Because for the next decade, the big decisions come directly from her. She becomes Red Bull Racing. She’s the invisible figurehead, the voice without a face, the invisible bull.

She’s 13 when she sets her sights on Max Verstappen,

Fast. Aggressive. Beautiful.

She has him signed within a matter of months. His name on a dotted line. The contract airtight and locked in.

He’ll start at Toro Rosso. He’ll prove himself.

But soon enough, he’ll be hers.

Her driver. Her winner.

And, if she gets her way… her first (and last) boyfriend.

I also have the headcanon that people refer to the Hanks with separate titles,

Hank no.1 is called “The Head One”

Hank no. 2 is “The Smart One”.

Hank no. 3 is “The Flirty One”

Hank no. 4 is “The Goofy One”

And Hank no. 5 is either “The Shy One” or “The Pretty One.”, because many streamers have called him handsome and he has the most fanart that is separate from his boyfriends.

YES THATS SO CUTE….five might be the pretty one…he’s the pretty boy out of all of them (granted they’re all pretty boys) I love you hanks I NEED THIS GAME OUT NOW!!!!

I am really really sorry for being MIA.

I could give you plenty of excuses about how I've been sick, or how I've just had a lot going on-- but really it just comes down to the fact that I've had insane writers block/lack of motivation for months now.

It happened around the time that s2 of HBO tlou was airing, which is funny because I really thought I was going to be so motivated to write with all the new content.

I think if I wasn't so vocal about liking s2 then maybe I wouldn't have gotten to the point I am, but it bummed me out seeing everyone be so negative (which people were entitled to be) and it ended up being super exhausting trying to interact with the fandom during those seven weeks. I kind of did this to myself, I guess.

I've been trying to write, but it's been hard. I don't want to say I'm abandoning anything because I truly do have so much love for the things I have written and planned-- I just don't know when I'll be back to posting as consistently as I was six months ago.

I have missed you all dearly, and I hope you know that I read every single comment and message that I get.

I hope to give you all something soon, and hope that you stick around to read it.

Hello!

The writing fairy has returned to me. Apologies for the infrequent, and frankly, pretty impulsive updates over the past few months.

White Mercedes is at the top of my priority list. Surprise, I’ve been slowly rewriting/reworking it over the past few weeks. I intend to upload the improved and expanded version on AO3 and Wattpad as soon as every existing chapter has been reworked.

As soon as this is done, I’m going to focus on that fic entirely until it’s completed, and then move back onto my more recent fics like Fault Lines, etc. They have not been abandoned!

I am also hoping to rework The Long Way Home in the same fashion in the near future, and hopefully re inspire myself to complete Harper and Oscar’s story <3

Hello my lovely beautiful sweet friends💘

Today, my beautiful mama has been diagnosed with the same cancer that she beat 8 years ago.

These last few days have truly been a whirlwind—but writing is a comfort for me, so it won’t stop. It might just slow down for a little while.

I’ll be back to answering all of your lovely asks as soon as my head feels a little bit more settled—I’m not disappearing!

Take care of yourselves and please please please book your smear/cervical screening/pap if you’re due one. It might save your life🩷
