Delilah skillfully balanced the two cups of coffee and shopping bags filled with groceries as she opened up her sisters apartment. She deposited the bags in the kitchen and made her way to the bedroom, coffee and danish in hand. It was no surprise to see Peaches still fast asleep in her bed, snoring slightly, despite the fact that it was nearly 1:00pm.
Delilah sighed, placing the coffee and pasty on the bedside table, making her way to the window. “Come on Sleeping Beauty.” She said loudly, opening the curtains so that the sun was shinning directly at her sleeping sister. “The day is too beautiful to waste it in bed.”
“Look I even brought coffee.” She said, holding the caffeinated close enough to Peaches’s nose to tempt her but just out of her reach so that she would have to sit up to get it.
