Regan walked down the halls of the Ministry, balancing several large filing boxes and a cup of coffee. She had an unbelievable amount of work, it seemed that every Witch and Wizard had decided to perform magic in front of Muggles this week and as usual Delilah was left to clean up the mess.

She was already on her third cup of coffee and could see even more in her future. The stack of boxes she struggled to carry obscured her few so she didn’t see the figure she bumped into when she rounded the corner, sending her files and coffee flying. “Shit, bugger, fuck.” She cursed, letting out even more obscenities that would normally never leave Delilah’s lips. “I’m so sorry I didn’t see you.” She said, remembering her manners as she desperately gathered her papers before they got soaked in coffee.

Delilah skillfully balanced the two cups of coffee and shopping bags filled with groceries as she opened up her sisters apartment. She deposited the bags in the kitchen and made her way to the bedroom, coffee and danish in hand. It was no surprise to see Peaches still fast asleep in her bed, snoring slightly, despite the fact that it was nearly 1:00pm.

Delilah sighed, placing the coffee and pasty on the bedside table, making her way to the window. “Come on Sleeping Beauty.” She said loudly, opening the curtains so that the sun was shinning directly at her sleeping sister. “The day is too beautiful to waste it in bed.”

“Look I even brought coffee.” She said, holding the caffeinated close enough to Peaches’s nose to tempt her but just out of her reach so that she would have to sit up to get it.

ABOUT

Hannah Longbottom always said that Delilah was the easiest baby a mother could ask for, she hardly fussed at all, slept through the night and was content to play on her own while her parents worked. She was born independent and self sufficient, her parents often joked that she didn’t even need them, she practically ran the house all by herself. She was a sweet and quiet child, preferring to quietly play with her dolls or read a book rather than run around and cause trouble like the other children.

When she arrived at Hogwarts she was the longest hat stall of the year, but eventually the hat decided that Hufflepuff would be a better fit that Ravenclaw. Despite not being sorted into the house known for their intelligence Delilah excelled academically, surpassing many of her fellow students in her grade, she also joined as many clubs as she could. By her seventh year she was Head Girl, and graduating with top marks.

Among her social circle Delilah is known for being the mother hen of the group. If someone has a problem that needs fixing, the go to Delilah and she is only too happy to help, in fact she’s happy to help even if no one asked. While her intentions are good Delilah can be extremely Type A and feels the need to control every detail around her. Everything about Lila’s life is meticulously planned, and when she’s done planning her life, she plans everyone else’s.

Always the problem solver it just made since that Delilah would join Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes after graduation. She currently works as a member of the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee but she expecting a promotion to the Office of Misinformation any day now.

Sister: Patricia “Peaches” Longbottom, from the moment Peaches was born Delilah knew that there was nothing that she wouldn’t do for her sister. The two girls couldn’t have been more different but their bond was strong.
