I love Peach. He's self-aware and that makes him more honest and the honesty meets his empathy and genuinely helps people. But he's also aware of it.

Because he was. I mean, he definitely was. He was harsh in a way that was needed. But he was still harsh.

And you know what? Shin learns.

He goes back and he picks up their aprons and then Peach goes and teases him and Shin accepts being teased just a little and Peach acknowledges that he also made a mistake.

Adults! Adults having adult conversations! @absolutebl A show actually did it! Both parties acknowledged being wrong and meant it and apologized equally! The rarest of occurrences.

The possessive leg thrown over him almost took me out. Absolutely perfect.

And the drunken should snuggle of desperate for human affection.

Peach is so much brighter than Shin but he brings the light with him when he goes over to him.

There is still darkness.

But he's not alone in that darkness anymore.

Perfectly illustrating the two different mindsets at work here and I love that for both of them. Even if I do still kind of ship GuyPeach.

Says the man who, just yesterday, stopped him from going out with his friend to teach him about baking cakes, apparently. Oh, Shin.

But there is something about Peach humming and the way Shin listens that melts me.

I made a sound I cannot repeat. This tiny idiot is out here hoping his crush will offer to help him shower because he is tiny and in lobe and more than a little pathetic, honestly, and has no idea how to seek or express human affection.

We have a baby boy in the house who only needs to be told something once before he respects that boundary. Peach is an absolute hero in BLverse.

Something about Shin only baking things he can't enjoy but asking for Peach's cake to be saved for him so he can enjoy it even though he is a worldclass baker because he bakes with his own allergen and the way it forces him to deprive himself of everything he makes and the way Peach and his cakes are the little things that matter in Shin's life even before he knows who Peach is...
