@opgenweek day two! I went with “storm” and “memories”.

It’s in the same timeline as yesterday’s as well. A little story to go along with the drawing under the cut

Edit: posted og with some of the shadow layers off so I swapped it out for the right one

“I can’t believe we’re lost in the middle of nowhere”

Luffy looks away from where he’d been watching the water drops slide down the window and grins over his shoulder at Nami, he’s got to look past three other people all squished together to do so. “I can! Who let Zoro drive anyway?”

Nami grumbles, adjusting the sleeves on the sweater she’d stolen from Luffy, elbowing Usopp in his side as she tries to share the space, “Sanji promised he’d be watching the road- I just wanted to nap- I sleep for two hours and we’re in the middle of a fucking desert.- I didn’t even know this area HAD Desert!!”

She glares at Zoro, pointing her finger at him “YOU made a turn when we were supposed to go straight for almost two hundred miles!! How did you fuck that up so bad-?”

Sanji takes her hand from where it’s hovering infront of him and leans across Usopp to smile sweetly “Nami dear, it’ll be okay!! Once the rain passes and we get the idiots back in the back of the truck I’ll follow your directions to get us back on tra-“

He’s interrupted with a loud thunderclap, the light rain suddenly becoming a proper downpour. He kinda wilts, sinking back into his spot. “It could.. take a while though.”

Luffy laughs, looking back out the window to watch the lightening as Nami groans and rests her head against the steering wheel “We’re never getting back.. even once the rain passes- what are we gonna do with that flat tire? We can’t go anywhere”

Usopp sinks into the seat, doing his best to avoid Nami’s fury- as he’d been the one to pin the nail in that coffin (or in this case- remove the nail keeping what little air the tire had in) “it’s fiiiine! We should be able to make it to a gas station at least! Maybe they’ll have a spare tire-”

Nami just sighs, “this is the worst roadtrip ever-”

Luffy grins “I dunno- I’ve had worse!!” He leans against Zoro, who raises his arm to let Luffy scoot closer. It isn’t much closer as Luffy’s basically already in his lap.

“How have you had worse, Luffy? We’re stranded in a tiny car in a desert in a sudden summer storm. How is there worse.”

“Gramps used to drive us out to a desert or forest and tell us to find some random camp he’d set up in the wilderness. He called it life training. Usually took us about a day or two to find the camp. One time we got lost for a week in the forest though!!” Luffy laughs, leaning forward to cross his arms on the trucks dashboard.

“Sabo and Ace and I built a treehouse that time- maybe it wasn’t actually all that bad. I loved those trips with my brothers”

Nami can’t help but laugh “your childhood sounds like a nightmare, Luffy”

He shrugs and reaches out to hold her hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze “It’s gonna be alright! My text to Ace just delivered, He should be here with a spare tire eventually.”

She relaxes her shoulders, choosing to try to focus on the positive “and- I guess it’s nice to spend this time with you guys.”

Sanji coos “Nami~! You’re the sweetest- forgiving us so easily after Zoro ruined all your intricate plans-“ he’s interrupted by a sharp elbow to the ribs by Zoro.

“I was just following the road-”

In your dawn law au, what would happen if Cora and Doffy did actually run across one another post marinefold? Would Doffy not hesitate to end him on the spot? Or would he like play with him for a bit while rambling about how pissed he is that Cora lived?

Mmmm this is a very interesting question.

I think some still human part of Doffy wants to understand Rosi. It’s why he gave Law a second chance (like why else would he keep Law alive so long if not to maybe see if he can convince him to join him). Doffy wants to be loved and understood, like all people do. He’s just insane about it, was groomed into embracing his worst qualities. Him being told he was special by other celestial dragons, then being called king by Trebbol.

I think Doffy might trap him, ask him why’d he choose Law, why’d he oppose him, why leave just to return and hurt him. Doffy doesn’t understand what would make a person on his level, his brother, his blood, someone who’s seen the same highs and lows as him, A GOD, would choose lowly humans. Especially one sick and weak (additionally, why would Law choose Rosi over him? When Doffy has extended every kindness, treated every ache and pain; What could Rosi possibly give him that Doffy can’t?)

I think this rant would allow Rosinante to wriggle his way out of trouble. And Doffy would allow it to happen. I think he would enjoy the game of cat and mouse. I think he would find his brothers struggle amusing and so long as Doffy could imagine a way to win he’d allow it to happen. (Some part of Doffy doesn’t want to kill his brother again he’s already had to do it once. In this au, I’m not sure he’d be able to do it a second time.)

1 Year, 821 followers as of yesterday. Thank you guys, so, so, so much for following this blog! I can't believe it's been a whole year since I started this blog and Peachy is officially a year and two months old [based off of when I first made his design]. 

This little ball of anxiety somehow wiggled into 821 hearts or at least peaked their interests enough to gain and keep you for the time being. I still have a lot of things planned for him- Especially now that a year has passed. There hasn't been much development for him, has there? He's claimed a sister, and you've found out about his 'talent' but besides that he's kept to himself.

And new developments in his story have unexpectedly formed thanks to a someone who shall not be named *cough cough*. But that information may not make itself completely known on this blog since it won't fully occur until after the blog ends. But maybe it will, who knows! There'll probably be hints of it here and there.

Now, onto what you all actually care about, because we all know my rambling is a bore to read, right?

The Follower Pic

I need references for the upcoming follower pic- But! Since Peachy lives in Ponyville, I'll only be using follower's ponies that are living there or are visiting. I always feel weird when characters that should be living in Canterlot or somewhere else are transported to a place they don't live in or never visit.

So those of my followers that have characters that live in Ponyville or are taking a vacation there, please reblog this with your character reference sheets. I will be checking to see if they really live there or not, or if their visiting in a current arc, so don't try to pull the wool over my eyes you jokers.

The deadline will be the end of the week 3/13/15.

Thank you again you guys! It's a little intimidating, having so many of you watching- But it's also exhilarating in its own way.
