i think instead of having normal tony awards this year they should let literally anybody in the world vote on their favorite nominee from each category from the entire last decade, just to create maximum chaos. like imagine hamilton stans and spongebob stans yelling at each other over which deserved best set design or something... people arguing over whether andrew rannells or ben platt was the best actor of the last decade... it would be so fucking funny
