Well with #vinsonmassif around the corner, and then Aconcagua in February, followed by Denali a few months later, God willingly, I was comparing gear lists... hummm.... and last week I ordered a few extra things... essentials... a girl needs choices....and from @arcteryx ...a new warm toque, the FIREBEE AR Hoody, which packs into a small pack of its own, the Gamma MX Hoody as a soft shell and wind barrier layer ( I am a little tired of my current one from @thenorthface . A balaclava, gloves...and I also got odds and ends from @mec , like liner gloves to go with my @redfox_outdoor mittens I had bought in Russia for Elbrus.. a few extra carabiners and a pee bottle... yeah... maybe this will be another post to explain that one! When you say you are from #canada when you are traveling, do you get asked to confirm how cold it is here? Or how about asked if we live in Igloos? Well it is cold in the Winter but we have @canadagoose jackets! I was trying on my new #snow mantra parka and now realize that not only Canada Goose makes a great product, they think of the little things, like including two strategically placed pockets to put hand warmers in there! As a mountaineer I love it. And did you know the parkas are made in Canada! I want to thank Canada Goose for their generosity! I look forward to modelling my jacket in November when I go climb #vinsonmassif with @antarcticlogistics.
