I did not make this pear bread, but we make it a few times each year. It's really good. It has grated bosc pears, and walnuts.

Is this how you roll?
Did you hand grate all those pears? 💀
Lol actually I just peeled them with a paring knife and then mashed them with a fork in a bowl. You’d have to pay me to use our grater since I hate cleaning it.
Well, that’s a new one.

Cinnamon Nut Pear Bread
3 cups flour (any will do, and you can even mix) 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/4 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp ground cinnamon nuts (any kind, any amount) 2 tsp vanilla extract 1/4-1/2 cup vegetable oil 1 can pears, juice included (cut up) 3 eggs OR 2-3 tbsp flax seed + 2 tbsp milk or water
1. Mix dry ingredients first. Stir together until well mixed. 2. Add wet ingredients and mix until well stirred. 3. Grease a baking dish (rectangular if you want traditional bread or a cake pan if you want circular bread). 4. Scrape mixture into dish until 1/2-3/4 of the way full. May require two dishes. 5. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Let bread settle until oven is ready. 6. Bake bread until toothpick comes clean, roughly checking the bread every 15 minutes or so (different times for different altitudes). 7. Let sit for 10 minutes or so. Scrape sides with a knife and dump onto a plate. Let cool before storing in the fridge.

Not that I invented pear breads but I did however have to come up with something easy, delicious and “pear involve” since my pear tree was overflowing. I do not have the time nor the patience at this point to can or freeze 30 some pounds of pears. So I shared with friends and kept a good amount…
