The whole group looking fat and happy during a water change yesterday. The two bottom fish are supposed to be my only males but I haven’t gotten a spawn out of this group, so we’ll see!

Girl with a Pearlscale Earring
Last piece of the year and with pure joy, I'm happy to announce what to expect for the mini comics going forward, 'Ancient Toys and Games Craft Along with the Foxlings' :'D These will be made between tracks and for special occasions *casually glances over to the music box pig from Titanic* With that I wish everyone who has enjoyed the first track of 'Changes' so far a Happy New Year and to continue staying safe!
fish: gold edition
Takara Tomy's goldfish series. Respectively from left to right: yellow ryukin and red pearlscale. P. S.: The ryukin fish came with the rider doll and different stand, it was considered one of the secret rare ones, I guess. Fun fact about goldfishes: The round body varieties with double tail are considered the "fancy" varieties. They are the result of 2000 years of selective breeding, they have about half the lifespan of their unilateral brothers (up to 10 years), require warmer temperatures (18C-24C) and less space (at least 50 litres per individual). Because of their unnatural form they are very prone to degenerative diseases, they are also slow and shouldn't be kept with predators or faster species, because they are not very good competing for food or avoiding trouble.
Absolute Unit
Here's a video of my cute little Tubbs! They're a little Pearlscale, the smallest in the tank. I just love their wiggly swim!
