i love the sort of stubbornness akane has against what seems to be a foregrounded certainty of tragedy (one of the reasons why im insane over the myth and the musical) and im so glad you gave them a happy ending regardless. so many other things im obsessed with: the ache and the yearning, the fact that they can’t help their mutual gravity, the way they both perfectly fulfill orpheus and euridyce’s roles (and sometimes how that dichotomy becomes muddled). im in love!!

hello hello, I saw you were in a weird mood last night and I wanted to let you know that I Also was in a weird mood. I blasted through half of Song of Achilles in one sitting and oh my god? the amount of quotes that made me go feral over how well they would suit ShinKane? especially this: "I will never leave him. It will be this, always, for as long as he will let me." like it could work from either POV, but especially Akane, and one sec, i gotta go lie down in a puddle of my tears real quick

ahhh you’re killing me anyway greek myth couples/shinkane gang rise (first orpheus/eurydice, now achilles/patroclus, maybe orestes/pylades next?)

that book is so sad idk how you got through half of it in one sitting and as much as i want kou and akane to end (relatively) happily im too much of an angst whore not to fully consider their tragic potential

6. What’s the detail you wait on bated breath for readers to notice?

The whole fic? Lol jk jk. No but really, it’s usually less of a “detail” and more of a moment that I want people to comment on? And it’s usually the moment I’m most proud of that I check to see if people like. As in whatever part I wrote that I immediately was like “damn this is good where did this come from?” And try to build the rest of the fic up to that level. Does that make sense?
