Btw appreciation for Naveen in that whole cutscene with AZ telling the truth about the tower. “Omg Naveen be nice—“ NO. NO HE’S RIGHT. NAVEEN IS RIGHT. He and anyone else totally has the right to be upset and point out how crazy and stressful this whole situation is. He has the right to directly point out how all of this is caused by dominoes built up by AZ falling over. He has the right to point out they could DIE trying to prevent this from happening and AZ should take accountability. (Appreciation to AZ for taking said accountability by the way)
Because I think MORE Pokémon characters need to express emotions like genuine anger, sadness, and frustration. Yes, they have, but I mean authentically and in a way that’s less palatable (but still appropriate for the audience obviously).
Maybe this is why I adored Kieran so much. Because he showed intense, self damaging levels of envy, admiration, and feelings of inferiority. Even Arven brushed off the fact his parents were dead- after being so bitter and upset about their absence, only to find out he won’t get to recover their presence in any way. (seriously what was that about…)
It is now law that everyone at some point needs to acknowledge that both Carmine and Kieran are lonely in their own distinct ways. Just like Kieran, Carmine is also lonely and just has a different outlook on it. Everyone think about Carmine NOW!!!

Much to talk about with the idea that Blueberry Academy still has a bullying problem compared to Naranja/Uva. honestly with it being such a high end academy, I wouldn’t doubt there’s a lot of stuck up students in there. Pokèmon equivalent of people who bring up they went to Harvard at any given opportunity.
