I noticed in the latest interview where he is asked about the daddy thing (a British morning show, I can’t remember which one) he dodged the question and just kind of said he doesn’t understand it because he doesn’t have kids. The man is definitely over it.

In the context of Mando, there’s so many questions to ask especially about the deeper themes of the show like found family and self identity.

I know what interview you're referring to and agreed. I feel like that was his on-the-fly answer of trying to dodge it while still being respectful.

I have too many thoughts on this topic. I don't think he fully understood what it was all about back when he was doing that crazy ass TikTok promo thing for TUWOMT which I think was the first time he really got wind of it (or it was the Vanity Fair Lie Detector test but he was wearing the same outfit in both so idk which one he did first lol). I think he has an idea-ish of it now, maybe more so now with all the time that has passed since then. I definitely don't think he thought it would blow up the way that it has and I feel awful for him.

The man is a self-proclaimed people pleaser (and recently said) so I think he was just going along with it in the beginning to not be "difficult" and because he didn't fully understand it so he found it some stupid, funny title. But now that his name seems to be permanently attached to it in every interview, article, and headline? He's got to be over it. I've seen several posts where people are like "If he didn't like it, he'd say it!" And how would he go about doing that? Hold a press conference? Make an Instagram post about it? Has any celeb ever done that for anything? Imagine the headlines about him after? The man wants to be loved and doesn't want to be considered a difficult actor to work with - if he directly shut down all the D*ddy lovers out there, 1. he'd probably feel like a jerk because he seems sensitive like that/he's a people pleaser and 2. there would be maniacs hating on him for it, no doubt.

It's become so out of hand at this point, I don't know how he even could stop it except for being constantly low-key about it like the answer to that question you referred to or how on Graham Norton he barely smiled when Graham was reading the posts out loud (ESPECIALLY when he read the 'cool slutty daddy' one, you could tell how much Pedro did NOT like that one p.s. fuck that reporter that made him say that at HIS FREAKING PREMIERE!)

Pedro's whole road to stardom is fascinating. He's done numerous plays, tv shows, movies. He's worked with some of the top stars and so early on in his career, too and yet the best people can ask him are stupid questions like that? It's pathetic, embarrassing, and offensive.

for pedro, the mustache look is the way to go!! i love the scruffies and he’s cute when he’s clean shaven, but ALWAYS ALWAYS a hoe for the mustache!!

for oscar...he looks good w/ it all. my personal fave is the beard. or when he’s got some of that stubble/five o’clock shadow! of course he’s beautiful clean shaven!!

my FAVES are his curls and the undercut oof...but he looks good w/ the shaved head too!!! im not too keen on his hair when they straighten it cuz it’s like...why would you waste such beauty! don’t hide the curls!!

No one knows for certain. Some speculate that it was because Elon Musk bought it and was talking of allowing Tr*mp back (before he actually did I believe) along with other assholes, some thought maybe the things being tweeted at him were getting too much for him (aka thirst tweets and also hate tweets from the tr*mpers), but as far as I know, Pedro never made like a final tweet of explanation, he was just gone one day :(
