Ok I was gonna do a whole comic then realized I didn’t have enough time (I’m gonna go on vacation very soon) so I’ll just type out the whole basis for the Archives of Achene thing under the cut since it’s longggg

Once upon a time, 3 siblings were baked, all deriving from the mystical Grand Nut Tree. They were to be the future. A set of twins, Macadamia Nut and Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (look it up i think its fucking hilarious), and their little brother Dark Cacao.

Once they were of age, Dark Cacao went off to discover a kingdom of his own, while Macadamia and Prunus were crowned queen and king of their nutty kingdom, titled Achene.

Macadamia went on to bake two children, her oldest dubbed Valencia Almond Cookie, her youngest dubbed Pedro Walnut Cookie, while Prunus preferred to stay childless. He believed helping with her children was enough for him.

Dark Cacao also baked a child, Dark Choco Cookie, but at a very unfortunate time… just barely a month before the Dark Flour war.

Macadamia couldn’t make it up to the Vanillian kingdom in time for the war, there were too many cake beasts raining down from above and she had to defend her home, alongside her brother.

A bright light flashed from above, signaling the destruction of Dark Enchantress and Pure Vanilla Cookie… but it was more than just a light. It was a shockwave that rippled all across the land and shook the Macadamian kingdom down below. Their castle cracked and crumbled, until a big piece came down and…

Crushed it’s king to crumbs.

Poor Macadamia and Pedro Walnut were horrified at the sight. Prunus had gone out of his way to rescue Macadamia’s son from the falling debris in time but couldn’t save himself. Macadamia was going to at least try to make a sound before she heard something peculiar…

… the kingdom was cheering, being lead on from up above by… Valencia Almond Cookie, convincing them that his death was.. a good thing. Convincing them Macadamia was crushed too. CONVINCING THEM… to love her and follow her rule. Macadamia was horrified. Pedro Walnut was horrified, and ran off before Macadamia could move a muscle to retrieve her son. He was only 8…

Macadamia… retreated into the forest not long after that, to never be seen again. The kingdom was already convinced she was dead, her son had already run away, and her brother… she wasn’t thinking straight at all.

From then on, no one heard from Macadamia or Pedro, but they weren’t expecting to. They were all convinced they were gone, even Dark Cacao, and now they were under Valencia’s rule.

But only the witches know what was in store for the doughline next… but Macadamia was forever regarded an Ancient Hero.
