Es war einmal ein wirklich cooler Ort. . Diese Fotos entstanden im Cubo Park auf der Insel Penang. Es war ein Ort an dem viele Frachtcontainer zu kleinen Shops oder Mini Restaurants umgebaut waren. Man könnte sagen es war ein kleines, open air Einkaufszentrum mit Lokalen. . Manche dieser Container waren über andere gestapelt und diese waren dann mit Treppen versehen und teilweise mit kleinen Brücken verbunden. Überall hingen Lichterketten und so mancher Container war mit einem Kunstwerk verziert. . Überall am Gelände konnte man Street Art oder Kunst in anderer Form betrachten. Dieser kleine Containerpark war einfach einzigartig und voller Kreativität. . In den kleinen Shops wurden hauptsächlich handgefertigte Dinge, wie Schmuck, Kleidung, Taschen oder sonstiges angeboten. Die Restaurants und Bars waren modern, verspielt und ein bisschen verrückt und boten so manche Köstlichkeiten. . Leider musste dieser Park, aufgrund der aktuellen Lage, vor einigen Wochen schließen. Damit ging ein wirklich total cooler Ort auf Penang verloren. Sie wurde im Jahr 1985 eröffnet, ist 13,5 km lange und hat 6 Spuren. Diese Brücke verbindet die Insel Penang mit dem Festland (Penninsular Malaysia). . Wenn man die Brücke benutzen möchte muss man Maut zahlen. Das Interessante dabei ist, die Maut auf die Insel kostet wesentlich mehr als die Maut für die Strecke von der Insel aufs Festland.
