it’s the usual crowd ━ the gullible ones who are eager for a little magic and intrigue to suddenly show around in their lives. for most, penelope grace is incredibly good at her little tricks ━ having perfected them from over the years. these range from card tricks to elaborate illusions that even have the best of skeptics fooled. but what they don’t know is that it’s genuine magic flowing through her veins ━ having been passed down from generations of wickedly mischievous witches such as herself. nonetheless, little penelope now all on her own has been making a living off of her little tricks and cons. today’s no exception and penelope’s currently wearing a grin on her face as she counts the wad of cash nestled in her hands. the latest con had been a bit more wealthier than the others which meant good business for her.
however, the sound of footsteps approaching her is enough to make her pause in her tracks and hide the cash she had borrowed (read: stolen) from her latest victim. the brunette’s guard drops ever so slightly when she sees that it’s more than a pretty girl all on her own. in other words, seemingly easy cash. “hey,” penelope greets, a charming little smile on her face as she rests her hands on her hips, “care for a little magic trick? i was about to leave for good but for you, i think i’d make a little bit of an exception.”
