Writing in 3rd person limited is funny because sometimes you have to choose between a good piece of prose and what you think is realistic for the character’s internal narrative

I agonized over this line for ages because I liked how it sounded but I also know in my heart of hearts Zoro has no idea what a bordelaise sauce is

Eventually I decided it probably wasn’t something that would stick out to most readers
