CW/TW: Mentions of Gender Affirming Surgery
About a month and a half ago, I contacted one of the most prestigious hospitals for gender affirming surgery in the United States to schedule a consultation. During the phone call, they gave me a scheduled timeframe of nearly two years.
Now, nearly a month later, I got two referral letters and my date might get bumped up sooner. This was a pretty difficult comic to make, but time will fly by.

This was one of the questions I often asked myself as a teenager. Looking back, I should've told my mother the truth about how I actually felt internally. I think it's safe to say, nearly eleven years after her passing, she knew. She always wanted a daughter, and she definitely got her wish. I wanted to make this comic for a long while now to get my feelings out there since it's been in the back of my mind for the past nine years.

Macy's A few weeks ago, my aunt and I went out shopping at a dead mall near me, and we decided to step inside a Macy’s. As I picked out two pairs of blue jeans, one with a floral pattern, I stepped into the dressing room. As I put it on, I couldn’t stop being so mesmerized by my reflection. And I’m getting to a point now in my transition, and especially my age, where I look very similar to my late mother.
Don’t get me wrong, it was pretty freaky, and the resemblance is very uncanny, but I can say after being on hrt for nearly two years now, I suppose that’s expected 🤷♀️
