Tässä artikkelissa kerromme Pentuliven tulevista tapahtumista ja raportoimme huippuhetkistä.
Pentuliven suora lähetys avautui ennakoitua aiemmin. Voit katsoa suoraa lähetystä ja osallistua chattiin Yle Areenassa. Avasimme striimin ennakoitua aiemmin, sillä Murusta alkoi näkyä jo selviä lähestyvän synnytyksen merkkejä. Se on alkanut petailla eli kaivaa “pesää” pentulaatikkoon. Muru myös läähää niin, että synnytyksen avautumisvaihe saattaa olla käynnissä.

The annual Puppy Live is back and the mom is about to give birth!!!!!!!!
This is an annual project by the Finnish public broadcaster Yle. It's a 24/7 live stream that follows a litter of puppies from their birth until their adoption at 8 weeks. It's become a popular event in the nation.
The livestream is completely ad-free. You can access it worldwide 24/7. This year we're following the journey of English Springer Spaniel Muru and her puppies. You can also access the live stream here with a chat.
the best thing about autumn, puppy live is here again. it's an 8-week long 24/7 livestream of well, puppies. this year there are 11 (!) english springer spaniel puppies and they're currently 2 days old. if you need some cuteness in your life, this is guaranteed to deliver.
and because my brain needs to wilmonify everything:
wille's been thinking about getting a dog for a long time and when he chances upon this livestream, he immediately falls for the tiniest, cutest puppy. he messages the production and they forward his details to the owner of the mother dog. whose face is never shown on the stream, just his lower body. and the mics pic up his voice too, especially when he sings to the puppies.
when the mother dog's owner deems wille good enough to adopt the puppy, they constantly text about the tiny pup of whom he seems to be taking extra good care of. and when wille finally goes to pick up the puppy he fell in love with, it turns out the owner is just as cute as the puppy. and maybe wille has fallen in love with more than just his new pet.
I am here to inform you that the Finnish Broadcasting Corporation (Yle) currently has it's yearly Puppy Live (yes, you read that right) running. This year we are watching a litter of English Springer Spaniels.

Alkava kausi on Pentuliven viides – ensimmäisen kerran pennut ilmestyivät ruutuun syksyllä 2021, keskelle korona-aikaa. Siitä alkaen Pentulive on tuonut iloa ja valoa pimeän vuodenajan ja synkkien uutisotsikoiden keskelle.
Pentulive näyttää pentujen elämää syntymästä alkaen luovutusikään asti, noin kahdeksan viikon ajan. Yle Areenan suora lähetys pentulaatikosta pyörii ympäri vuorokauden.
Tänä vuonna tutustutaan jälleen uuteen rotuun, englanninspringerspanieliin. Sen tunnistaa pitkistä korvista ja pilkullisesta turkista. Rotu sopii kiltin ja sinnikkään luonteensa puolesta sekä perhekoiraksi että metsästyskaveriksi.
Ensimmäistä kertaa emoksi tulevaan Muruun pääset tutustumaan paremmin hieman myöhemmin julkaistavassa artikkelissa.

Pentuliven neljännellä kaudella, lokakuussa 2024, bordercollie Loimu synnytti kymmenen suloista pentua.
Niistä neljä nähdään uudessa Pentulive: Eka vuosi -sarjassa: Pilke, Martta (ent. Kipinä), Nessa (ent. Kulo) ja Kajo (ent. Tuike). Sarja ilmestyy Yle Areenaan 9.12.
Dokumenttisarjassa seurataan pentujen arkea uusissa perheissä ensimmäisen vuoden ajan.
