My favorite ink is Jacques Herbin 1670 Caroube de Chypre, which is brown with gold shimmer.  A lot of other shimmering inks can cause problems like clogging, but I have never had an issue with this one, and it’s just so beautiful.

I found out about fountain pens while reading The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon in 2015 – which I’m about to reread!  The beginning features a Montblanc Meisterstück and I was just enamored.  My interest waned over the years but has recently been revived.  (I don’t have a Montblanc yet, but maybe one day.)

The Student Scribblers Discord Server Presents: Penuary - a month of fountain pen prompts. Each day of January 2021 has a prompt for you to answer either on your blog or other social media or in the discord server, with a picture if you like.  You don’t have to answer every question, and it doesn’t matter if you have only one pen for a whole collection, or if you don’t even have one yet. The questions are just to get the fountain pen community talking and to share the fountain pen love!

I'll finish them when I can, but my weekend circumstances put me behind on Penuary by four drawings and I have a commission due soon so I won't be on schedule anymore.
