Do you ever go through the motions of a routine and suddenly remember when you first started it, even if you haven't done it in a while? Five years ago one of my siblings was hospitalized for several months and the family dynamic shifted a good bit as a result. It was a weird time, to say the least. I've been thinking about it a bit more lately because I was the one responsible for letting the dog out then a lot of the time (it used to be my dad, but my parents were often gone on weekends to be with my sister). Memories are weird lol.
