1. I sneeze really loudly. The harsh tinny reverb of most houses/apartments? A+ The distant echo of mall parking lots? A++ Genuinely startling nearby people? A+++

2. I actually enjoy teaching. I didn’t expect to learn this at a QA job, but I’m the one who trains new team members or helps out developers when they try to use our testing software.

3. I can derive simple pleasure from singing along with music, even at my lowest point.

4. I’ve gotten to the point with my brother where we can have moments where I am like “Ah, yes. We are related.” We didn’t really get along as kids, and I don’t know if I’d call it a “brotherly bond” but its at least a large shared set of inside jokes and references that only we would get.

5. I have a pretty strong sense of fair play. If the teams are stacked, I will switch sides, even if it means going up against all of my friends and getting annihilated.

what if you baked a maple syrup/sugar crusted crust apple pie?

ohhh maaaaan this is definitely on my list because I am trash for this fandom. but my first projects when I get back are: 

- snickerdoodles, for my soon-to-be brother in law - blueberry muffins with a kind of brown-sugar glaze, for my dad to freeze and have in the mornings (he is an odd man) - Something for my Mother - Something for my Sisters - Something for my other brother-in-law- gingerbread cookies because dammit there WILL be cookies for Christmas. might enlist my squad to help me eat them, but I will be doing the baking. I love them all dearly, but I do not trust any of them in the kitchen with me. they have not proven themselves worthy yet. - a chocolate pecan pie. this was my Grammy’s specialty. she was the one who first taught me to bake when I was a /very/ small child, and she’s been gone for...almost a couple  years now? so I want to bake something for Christmas that will kind of be in memoriam or something like that. so all in all I’ll be pretty busy; I might get around to tackling it though! I’m loving these asks btw!
