I am curious can you tell me anything about Gabriel? What is the arc he has?

Gabriel has a very interesting arc, imo. He starts out as Heaven's very unwilling golden boy. He's expected to be perfect, the poster child of Heaven, and he wants to be anything but.

It's not that he wants to be a demon, or anything, but he really doesn't like having all this pressure on him to follow a predetermined path that he has no say in. Any time he does something that's not exactly what was expected of him, he gets criticized and lectured. And he hates it. He feels very trapped.

So to begin with, he's being intentionally reckless, pushing the boundaries, getting in trouble, tempting fate. Basically, he doesn't care what happens, as long as he's doing something interesting. And what Heaven wants for him is not interesting in the slightest.

Over the course of the book, I'm hoping that his arc will end up being one of self-discovery and self-determination. At the beginning, he doesn't know what he wants, just that he doesn't want what he has. Eventually, I want him to have a better sense of himself and of his own desires, as well as realizing that he shouldn't have to do what everyone expects of him.

Maybe there's a bit of a corruption arc at play (there certainly is in the eyes of Heaven), and maybe he won't end the book having everything he wants, or even exactly what he wants (he's just a kid, he shouldn't have to know), but in the end, his arc is about prioritizing his own happiness and wellbeing over what is expected of him.

Oh, and maybe growing as a person too.

Lucy. Her arc is so good and so far my favourite one. It's *french chef kisses pinched fingers*. Well thought out. Love it.

Lime Green: Your favourite kind of scene to write

Emotional ones with loads of thoughts, little to no action, or where it's disoriented because the character is in shook.

Forest Green: What’s your favourite genre to write?

Fantasy! So versatile, huge, and fantastic. I can have gryphons, unicorns, gods, fairies, dragons, and whatever else belongs in a fantasy element. Love it.

first of all congratulations to the 50 Followers Milestones! I don't know someone who deserves it more than you guys!

Then as for tbe Milestone event and the character it is truly an amazing idea but please only do mine if it doesn't overwork you guys.

As a name I shall give you Thali Charin, a woman, who loves everything that has to do with space, travel and writing alongside politics. Besides that I have nothing more on mind not even a specific ethnicity.

And gods, did Thali just IMMEDIATELY explode into laugh for us! Vibrant, beautiful, wild, and sharp, she sits as Captain of her ship, traveling the Galaxy Gateway, downing booze that she wins, and gives hell to diplomats and pirates alike. (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

A Snippet For Her Arrival,

The Ship is in shambles. 

Thali takes in the carnage as she gives herself over to the broken deck of the ruined ship. Their masts were broken and bent, more reminders of where things should have been than anything else. The bodies clinging to the smoke wood and broken rigging aren’t enough to warrant the superstitions of the seas but there is a small disappointment there. If only the fools had surrendered. She walks through the wreckage of the ship, notes that the plundering is under way; she only glances over the work of her crew, but they work with efficiency and tact; the bodies are laid out and handled with care while the ship is treated with the respect of a fallen majesty. She leaves the rest of the crew to work, walks around the ruined wood until she notices the demands breaking through smoke and work from the quarterdeck. She snorts with some of the words lifting from the area, takes her time as she listens to the last brave words of a coward.

“FILTHY SLEAZEBALLS, SONS OF LEVIATHAN’S SHIT, DAMNED FUCEKRS OF THE GALAXY’S WASTE, POMPOUS BALLS OF A BASTARD’S GAS, MAY THE MERMAIDS EAT YOUR HEARTS.”

She takes the steps lazily, rolls her eyes with the weak insults and threats as she notes what remains of the crew. Only a handful of sailors, beaten down, bruised, and tied to one another, sit on their knees behind what has to be the gaudiest pirate she has even seen. His clothes are more than bright, even with the rips showing off blood stains and open wounds, and the bits of jewelry still clinging to his body show wherein his status lies. Greedy and arrogant, it is obvious that he holds all of the luxuries of his career. A pretty showpiece among the rest of the crew, he is the only one who doesn’t look like he bathed in the gunpowder smoke and cloudy waters of the Worlds. She lets her lips curl, walks up to the man standing before them and barely heeds anything the pirate captain was spitting his way. Silent, imposing, and as solid as the hardwood of his beloved ship, her first mate grunts softly as he notes her. He lets one foot slam into the deck, silencing the pirate captain as his voice bellows for the simple reason of his desire.

“You are now beholding the presence of the Captain of the Disgraceful Dagger, the Dishonorable Diplomat of the Galaxy Gateway. Shut your mouths before Phantasm.”

She gives him a soft pat, leans her weight against his side and gives the crew a smile and a wink as their focus bends to her solely. 

“Well, here we are lads. Had you simply allowed the boarding, we wouldn’t have had to take down your masts.”

They all stare her down, and she almost enjoys the soft shock and confusion that rolls through their faces. It is almost more than obvious that their pathetic expectations of the Captain that took them down were shattered with her. She sneers as their brains slowly shift through the small thought, focuses on the pirate captain and walks to him, taking his flamboyant hat and playing with the stupid parrot feathers sticking out like a bad bedhead.

“Come now Captain Numbskull, do you not know how to welcome another onto your ship?”

The pirate seems to find his brain; she revels in the stupidly obvious anger that forces his reactions without a single thought.

“Who the fuck would welcome a who-”

She doesn’t let him finish the insult, one hand whipping out and snatching hard at his jaw. She digs nails into his pressure points, drags his face close as she shakes it hard.

“You know, not even a feral dog is missing the amount of brain cells you obviously can’t afford to miss. So let’s try to actually utilize that last one, hmm?”

She shakes his head a few more times in forced agreement before throwing him away from her and standing. She lets the hat fly, barely giving it another glance before she moves to the rest of the crew and ignoring the pirate.

“Which one of you can actually speak like they are not getting their ass fucked over into next Tuesday, hmm?”

None of them answer, most holding their gazes to their knees or the ship. She waits for a beat, sighs when nothing comes but the captain.

“We have no words for the sunburnt fu-”

She spins before he can finish, her boot slamming into his jaw with a solid crack ensuring that at least something breaks with the movement. She leaves the man to fall backwards, dusts herself off and walks back to her first mate.

“If they wish to keep their silence, then give it to them. Maybe they will have words for Leviathan.”

She leaves the threat there, walking away as her first mate cracks his knuckles and offers the sailors to the seas.

p.s. we totally had to write out different scenes for her, bc she is just that wild! so we will send you the link to do the Doc so you can kind of get a good sneak peek into the process of writing vicious and wonderfully dangerous Thali! c: and if the formatting looks a little weird, we are still trying to figure out the way Tumblr works, bc we KNOW they can handle beefy bois filled with text, we just don't know the magic code for it yet!
