(Started to feel more confident about my tracings lately, mostly thanks to support from a friend of mine. So I decided to do an edit (is it still an edit if it’s a tracing of the original that’s been modified?) of Percy into @percival-queen’s Parapet! I rubbed the lead shaving of my pencil in with the cream for the skin to give a slight “stoney” look and tipped the hair with blue to match Percy’s lightning.)

percy is pretty obviously the academic type, so i’d imagine having her as an s/o would be interesting. you’d probably exchange interesting facts and discuss your favourite stories together, very fluffy.

you two would cuddle on the couch with your favourite book and read together under a comfy blanket!

23. What are your muse’s coping mechanisms? Are they healthy?

Mera has coping mechanisms in both physical and mental ways, with neither of them being entirely healthy methods.

Physically, she tends to break things if her pain gets too much for her, as it’s an outlet she can focus on. She tries to make sure she doesn’t break anything important, often Barriers supplied by Indus, but her anger does get the better of her at times.

Mentally, she copes with the constant pain with her general sour attitude, as she can’t bother putting up a happy facade most of the time. Her haughtiness is also a result of this. Considering what she goes through every day, she feels like she deserves the privilege of making fun of others.

it was a bright morning, and you two were ready for anything that would come your way. but — for some reason , you couldn’t help but feel — off. it was probably exhaustion. you promised yourself you’d figure it out eventually.

“hello, i see you look — rather exhausted. would you like some coffee?” it was percy, and she had come to greet you. you nod, sulking into your chair. soon enough, the blonde figure comes back with a drink, which she hands to you. you take a sip before asking her if you could ask her something.

“of course, i’d be happy to assist.” she smiles. you sit up.

“so — er, i was wondering if you — wanted to hang out sometime? like, we could go to redwood run and get pinecones?” you ask. percy seems rather calm about this inquiry. you twiddle you’re thumbs nervously.

“i’d love to, is 6:00 alright?”
