so BYU/people-who-technically-are-not-associated-with-BYU hosts a scifi/fantasy con called Life, the Universe and Everything, and it's in a couple weeks. They just released the schedule.
First, MEGAN WHALEN TURNER IS GOING TO BE THERE AHHHHHHH she wrote one of my favoritest books ever, The Thief, which is probably the book that got me into fantasy. It's g9.
Second, they'll be showing a Wheel of Time (based?) fan film callled "Flight from Shadow" (a video on it here and be in awe of the characters you'll spot WOW SOMEONE BEAT US TO OUR WoT MOVIE) which looks super cool so I have to go to that.
so this'll be a practice con before I go to Leaky Con, I guess? And a good wind down from midterms in the week or so preceding it.

Once again listening to Ground Dweller while going to sleep
And I will never get over how amazing Trenton's voice is. Seriously perfection. Especially on "Lion Skin". Of course the rest of the band is amazing too. I just love how they SOUND heavy and the instrumentation is heavy and even hardcore at times without Trenton having to scream. Flawless. 👍
