Peri-menopause: when your body doesn't know what the fuck it's doing at any given point in time. Such fun. </sarcasm> Me: frequent trips to BR to pee (not helped when cat lies on top of bladder), hot flashes, 5 min of increased sex drive then 'whatever' ('Whatever' usually being can't be bothered to do anything about it until the moment passes...or taking care of business myself), bouts of insomnia, a period that doesn't know if it's actually going to amount to an actual cycle period or just intermittent bleeding every other day.
The Reiki in this photo is for any woman going through peri-menopause. Blessings, Lourdes
I have the itchy ear symptoms of peri-menopause, which is what it is. Its annoying, but I'm lucky as if I had hot flushes the amount and length of time of my itchy ears I would have thrown a table through a wall to get a breeze going. If you are a person who menstruate, talk to the elders in your family and ask them their symptoms when they went through "the change" Be. PREPARED.
Anyway I've digressed.
I'm meal prepping today and have diced up 4 jalapenos. You know how think you wash your hands really well after touching jalapenos? Yeah. Apparently I missed a bit on a finger and have scratched in my ear with a spicy finger. It is....unsettling.

Review: Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus
We were sent a supply of Revive Collagen Enhanced Plus for review purposes. All images and opinions are our own. A couple of months ago, I was sat chatting with my friends about menopause (that’s a hot topic and will be for a while), when one of my friends said she’s been taking liquid collagen and she felt it was making a difference to her. Naturally we all immediately leapt on this and quizzed…

Two years ago I had my tubes removed and an ablation. Today my menses is almost back to what it was before the ablation. Filled my menstrual cup to overflowing 3 times in two days with the last time taking just 3 hours. It’s been getting heavier for the last year but I didn’t need more than a pantyliner most of the time anyway. I tried birth control before the ablation to control the bleeding with no luck. Time to pack a bag with extra clothes etc to keep with me just in case, again. As long as it doesn’t get to where I have to stay home one day or more during my menses and it doesn’t last a week or more I’ll just deal with it. But I’m in perimenopause and I haven’t had regular periods in a long time, could have just a week between, could be 2 months, could be spotting the whole month.
