I am making a free receipe book full of receipes too help with extreme period pain that many afab people experience. I'm gonna do my best too avoid alot of gendered language in it cause I know alot of Trans people (myself included) experience these things because the dysphoria from having these problems is bad enough 😭✌️. I'm probably going to post it soon. It'll be a pdf that anyone can access. PERIOD CARE IS TOO EXPENSIVE ALREADY, AND THERE HAS BEEN NOT NEARLY ENOUGH RESEARCH DONE ON IT AND NOT NEARLY ENOUGH RESOURCES AVAILABLE. these receipes have been tried and tested by me and have been made through my own trial and error over the past 2 years. I will also explain the science behind each receipe and what ingredients help with what (pain, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, irritability, ect) so that you can know what is doing what and take out extra things in the receipes you may not like. I'm also making sure there is plenty of affordable options and alternatives, I do 99% of the cooking in my house so I know how to make good shit out of cheap shit. Lemme know if there's anything else I should add or that I may have missed, or if you have any receipes you'd like me too add! (YOU WILL BE CREDITED FOR YOUR RECIEPS DW)
on a less horny note, to all your followers who struggle with painful and/or erratic menstruation: please consider a hormonal iud! the insertion process is... not comfortable, they never give you enough painkillers at the clinic from my experiences, but i can attest that i used to have the most awful gory periods and now it's just light spotting every 3-6 months. also it cleared up my acne.

Oof great tip!
Having a body that menstruates when you don't plan on having kids or not strongly connecting with your physical body can be really difficult. But being kind to yourself is very important during this time and adding on stress/shame will only make it feel worse.
I recommend taking personal time for yourself during your period & come up with ways you can take care of yourself, while having fun. I personally call my menstrual phase my "Werewolf Period" because during this time, I...
🐺 am going through a monthly physical change
🐺 become moody, emotional, even aggressive
🐺 experience lots of body pains
🐺 am not in full control of my mind/emotions
🐺 am ravenous; craving protein/iron/meat-like foods
🐺 desire to hide away in my "den"
🐺 want to growl & tear things up, sometimes
🐺 howl/cry in agony, other times
🐺 need time away from my mate or I might snap at him
🐺 become "extra" during a full moon
I really don't act like myself during this time and used to treat my body poorly (especially during my period), so it's easier for me to take these days off. Most people should be understanding of "It's my time of the month, and I need to prioritize my health for now until it's officially done; I should be back to 'normal' in 5-7 days."
Aleve is a fucking miracle drug from the gods themselves. Seriously, if you have periods and have access to Aleve, try it. It takes a while to kick in, but it melts the pain away.
Does anyone have any tips for sleeping upright, like sitting upright?
cuz I’m on my period right now, and due to me feeling sick I can’t lay down on my back or sides due to the way it moves my stomach.
but it’s so uncomfortable, so does anyone possibly have any tips to make it more comfortable??
(also note I have to be sitting up against my headboard.)
I saw this tiktok that said if you eat cabbage like a lotta cabbage—-like an entire cabbage—-then you won’t get cramps on your period and as someone who gets cramps to the point where I feel like ripping out my uterus, I though ykw wouldn’t hurt to try it
Tell me why it actually works 💀💀 it still hurts but now at least I can stand up on the first day without feeling like my back is being split in two
So yeah eat cabbages y’all
Baking soda + hydrogen peroxide
Make a paste.
Let sit on blood soaked mattress for minute or so.
Rub off with warm damp towel.
