Word: LEGOLAS; Theme: The Sea
Long have I wandered on the shores of my youth,
Evergreen, everyoung, yet everdying, for
Gone is the peace the wind whispered through the leaves, gone my truest home in the smell
Of warm damp earth, gone the song of my people note by note.
Longing now consumes me, for wave and foam and salty starlight.
Away I must, away, because my blood ebbs and flows with the tides, because a new
Saline song swallows my soul whole, and I'd sacrifice seven times seven silmarils for one silver sail.
Word:GREENLEAF; Theme: Grief
Grave after grave after grave I'll watch them
Rest in stone, or under grass,
East of the sea or west. Each time I'll hail their parting with
Elven song, each time I'll cry icy tears, and
Never will I forget, cursed from birth to stay green as all the
Leaves around me wither and fall, their mysterious dance towards the ground
Ever a mistery to me, each twirl
Another stab to my immortal-too-mortal-heart. I wonder which wound will
Finish me. I long for it more than I long for the waves.

This one was just for fun, and it is hardly innovative, but I'd still like to offer it as a gift to @roselightfairy (for all that you have written. If you want to accept it, that is) and to everyone else who likes it.
Remember, you can send me any word and any theme and I'll write an acrostic for you!
