This is just a PSA to let you know that Paul Wheaton is not a good source of info, and neither is his book  Building a Better World in Your Backyard: Instead of Being Angry at Bad Guys

The permies.com forums have some useful info, but if you notice it’s all contributed by people who know a lot more about what they’re talking about and have actual experience. I’m just posting this mainly because he’s in another “everyone needs to know my name and do what I tell them to do!” push so I’m sure we’ll see more of his “benevolent dictatorship” bleeding over into tumblr.

On International Permaculture Day, @cropswapaustralia had several swap meets happening. One was at @mosshouseau, and had everything from a loaf of bread (it didn't even hit the table) to tomatillos! A lovely couple of hours meeting and chatting and swapping and sharing - even for those who hadn't been able to ring anything. . .
