Now I fully admit I’m not tech savvy, I’m still learning the ins and outs of this site still. But I do know reposting without artist permission is stealing no matter how easy it is to do so I like instead of repost. While I may not be blessed in being an artist or writer myself, I was friends with a writer and two very talented artists who were competition winners back in high school. So I know vaguely about the time, dedication, and perseverance that it takes to do both even as a side hobby, not even touching the stress involved in more serious levels of both. So it really breaks my heart when I see posts from artists and writers about how their hard work was plagiarized or posted without their permission somewhere they never wanted it to be. That is just a punch in the gut to them and insults the work they put their heart into and decided to share with the world. So please, unless the artist or writer says on their post that it can be reposted, ask permission first! I know it’s so easy and tempting to press the arrow button, but just switch to the heart while you ask for permission!
