York had spent a good couple weeks staying with Carolina at her place--technically crashing on the couch, though obviously they were working on getting back up to a proper relationship... eventually. He was pretty sure. Anyway.

It was weird, just... chilling on the couch next to her while she was reading. He had expected something a lot more dramatic to happen, but, hey, they were both adults, right? This was the most adult way to handle it: calmly and slowly.

It didn't stop him from having a ton of burning questions, though.
