((I feel like there's absolutely no way that Verso didn't go a little crazy being on his own for long stretches of the last 67 years. Having the gestrals, the gradis, Alicia, and even Renoir around helped, but even then, we know Verso spent large swathes of time on his own (both Esquie and Monoco comment that its been years since they last saw him).
The gestrals certainly helped. They are more or less children's toys, and their solutions to keep Verso sane are... essentially the Gestral Beaches. (I love the idea that every time he gets to the top of that damn tower, the gestrals add another layer. try again fucko). The regular appearance of Expeditions helped, even if Verso didn't join them.
For the most part, Verso is as normal as one can expect an immortal man out of time can be.
However, he is exactly the type of unhinged that would set the microwave at 99:99 and just let it run for as long as he felt like it. And then reset it to 99:99 when it ran out.
