Ummm this is another wip I had since like, october last year (⁠・⁠–⁠・⁠;⁠)⁠ゞ I would try to finish it... but I think this might be a bit too ambitious for me haha, I can trace and render the DCA png but I don't really know how to add new stuff (The damage described in the picture, since this is an art style a lot more realistic than my usual one). But I still didn't want this to just keep sitting around gathering dust sooo here it is! Maybe I'll return later to it either with new knowledge to draw my original vision or with a more simplified art style

Oh yeah I haven't explained- ehhh NINaH x DCA x Reader AU (can be read either platonic or romantic) ehhh there's also a fella named Alden

".... Someone's knocking at the door...? It- It can't be, it's the middle of the day"

And knock knock knock the door went again, although it seemed to be bordering more of a thump sound as it went on once again.

You slowly approached the door, hesitation was clear from the both of you. Still, preparing yourself for the overwhelming light, you gathered courage to look throughout the peek hole.

You immediately stepped back.

"What? What is it? What did you see?" your friend pressured on without waiting, nor did they wait to peek at what you saw when no answer came quickly.

"That's.... an automaton"

"We're not letting it in"

"You can't be serious" you pleaded "Look how melted the poor thing is! Alden don't be cruel"

"Cruel? That _thing_ could be dangerous!" to which a contra argument immediately came.

Alden was visibly nervous. For most people they always seemed hard to read, even to you sometimes, but in this situation all the little movements they would usually quietly do, such as the twitching of fingers occurring right now, became intensified.

"They're a robot! Metal! There's no way it- they're infected!"

"Now you can't be serious" a nose pinched between fingers looked like the final answer you would receive, until Alden decided to continue "It's not a person, understand-"

A horrible sound of chirrido(⚠️ translation pending) cut the reason your friend was trying to install on you, almost as if the discussed subject was listening, somehow.... are their audio receptors still working? Can they still be saved?

You locked eyes for just a couple of seconds, eternal as they seemed, your friend quickly finally gave in to your pleadings.

"Fine"

[Time skip, drawing of Moon, nighttime, visibly damaged but partly repaired, he's standing before the door as the player stares at him through the peek hole, "Night patrol finished. Area secure..... Also found clean water :)"]

Hypothetically speaking if this was a game or an interactive fic or something, these would be the possible endings:

Bunny Ending: The Moon kills you (Ending triggered by letting Vanessa in and completing a number of events; the chance of being a Visitor is replaced by the chance of being infected by Glitchtrap for this character)

Flesh in the Machine Ending: You decommission kill the DCA (Paranoia consumes you. Ending triggered by examining Sun all days and "finding" proof of the DCA being a Visitor)

One Sun, one Moon Ending: Survive without the DCA (Ending triggered by denying them entry. This may also occur as a response of Moon appearing covered in blood some nights and distrusting him because of it) — (Drawing attached: The sun and the moon in the sky)

Good Ending: Everyone survives (Self explanatory. The scenes for this one may change depending on if the player pursued a platonic or romantic relationship with the DCA)

I know the wiki says she's mint green but you seeI'm kinda a blind mole, and I thought it was more like a tone of blue/cyan

Thus inspiring this :P

Something something parallelisms The Blue Rivals (Turbo Twins) and The Cyan Rival/The Mint Green Rival (Vanellope Von Schweetz)

Turbo Twins from heaven or smth: ??? You have beef with a kid ??? That's your rival now ????

ALSO ALSO CONTEXT FOR THE SECOND IMAGE:

Basically an AU where the Turbo Twins survived, years passed, Sugar Rush got plugged blablabla and SIBLINGS!!! They meet Vanellope and she becomes sort of a little sister to them :>

Side note: While doing this I also also realized I forgot to add black to Turbo's palette in that one drawing :'v

It's interesting how, even though Turbo's and Vanellope's racing suits are similar, he decided to reuse the false royal clothes for the alternative racer skin and model King Candy's head and hand pieces only; avoiding any white and opting for a golden color palette that matched.

Too much of a risk of being recognized? Too close to home?

Do you think he thought of them? When designing the helmet with a stripe, the only thing not the Princess own? Not as a homage to the twins; I think if he could've it would have been a T, if the candy cane it's anything to go by, but had to settle down for the former as to not raise any suspicions — or maybe if he couldn't keep that piece of his old self at least he could have the stripe.

Either way, while examining the newly created three dimensional model, he must have thought of them for at least a second, right?

Another ver of the drawing that was scratched (I didn't want the texture to be too smooth xd OH ANF THE CROWN RIGHT uhmmm artistic decision since this is kinda Turbo at the beginning of modeling the model? Yesss that's totally the reason it was scratched and not because I got annoyed trying to get it right, yesss, trust)

(Either way the writing is what I wanted to share mostly, the drawing is just to accompany it HDLDHDKD)
