A Republican politician running for Michigan governor is spending millions of dollars to tell football fans what not to watch during the Super Bowl.
Perry Johnson, an Oakland County entrepreneur and longtime Republican donor, has committed roughly $3 million to a statewide advertising blitz that includes urging viewers to change the channel during Bad Bunny's Super Bowl LX halftime show on Sunday.

The campaign includes two television ads and a purchase in NBC's pregame broadcast, according to Johnson's campaign and reporting by MLive.
One ad, titled "Super Bowl Bunny," depicts the Puerto Rican superstar as a literal rabbit labeled "Dust Bunny" and encourages viewers to tune out the halftime show in favor of the alternative "All-American Halftime Show" sponsored by the conservative group Turning Point USA.
That program, set to stream on TPUSA's social media channels, will feature country music stars Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice and Gabby Barrett.
