Meeting Minutes 09/04/2026

Our cadets practiced litter carry using tuna cans filled with blood to simulate locating an injured person. Forced to balance speed with precision resulted in two "fatalities." Fortunately, our cadets get to try again so that when the chips are down, everyone comes home. We had a rainbow on National Unicorn Day, and the wind gusts stole some ponchos and covers, but some jobs require an absence of corrective stops when the blood is running cold.

Our cadets maintained their physical discipline with basketball (Morse code style), voice control walking the lines doing jodies, and something they called "skimbee" which involved launching a frisbee against the basketball court floor to keep it from getting caught in the wind. Let that warm weather keep coming! ☀️

They just celebrated their one year opening anniversary, with a followup from the "Tear into books" art project that is now on display right above the books 📚

In one week I have submerged books in water 😅 and eaten them, so a lot of personal growth. I would also like to apologize to Blueberry Muffin latte we had some good times, but Banana just gets me. 🍌
