i have to be in a really specific headspace to get invested in a novel and when it happens its like, 2 months or so where im going thru like a dozen books and then i have to take a break and exclusively read nonfiction for 2 years

#last time i read every single lgbt fantasy novel i could find in my library system. watership down. and the entire dune series #unfortunately did not particularly like any of the lgbt ones besides one that was like softcore p*rn and not something i would ‘recommend’#persay

But we're just going to ignore the fact that I use the boy's first and last names interchangeably. I actually did this by accident, because when I talk about them, I use first names for some and last names for others. So just deal with it cause I don't feel like going back to change them.

It has no real significance in this story anyway and we both know y'all know who I'm talkin about. So we are just going to pretend I didn't fuck that up, kay? 😬

while she has the ability to touch lifers to a degree it does come fade within time for a bit (if it isn’t charlie, read further on for information about charlie) - she can roughly do it for 10 minutes before having a intense headache and actually blacking out, after that she can’t do it for the day. 5 minutes is when it starts to fade but she can hold it out if she chooses to do so. not recced though.

now regarding her & charlie, it’s both a curse and a gift. due to their very deep bond & connection, she can consistently touch him without any physical draw backs. he’s the only lifer she can do this with & the only one she probably actually /does touch for more then 10 minutes at a time/
