I just watched The Last Jedi omgomg omgggg

It was so bad

But it was so good

First I loved it but

Like honestly when the first Rey/Luke scene came I was just like- this is so bad you don’t have to parody this anymore this is a parody of itself

And all the queerbaiting :[[[ don’t do that

And then when Kylo nearly turned I was like omg this is so no balance in the force anymore this goes against everything you just said in the last half hour

But he didn’t rly turn so…

And Rey was really badass!!! That fightscene!!!

And CARRIE FISHER omg in memory of our princess yessssss and she was so awesome omg I miss her so much

And all the women!! Right in the beginning that one blonde badass woman who doesn’t let that dude tell her what to do!!! And ethnical representation!! That other woman (I’m sorry I’m so bad with names I only know the main characters cause fandom taught me) she was so cool!!! Did she survive or was she dead?!? I didn’t quite get that

But like the setup of the movie in general was sooooo let’s steal all the ideas from all the previous films and let’s see what it’ll turn out like… Like When they went into hiding in that cave thingy… Don’t we all know that from sooommmeewhere?? At least they changed it up a bit and they escaped via backroute instead of fighting their way out

Did anyone expect the Luke isn’t really there thing?? I sure didn’t!!

The aliens were mostly boring, all animal or human like, honestly star wars I used to especially like you in comparison to eg star trek for having actual aliens that don’t have two arms and two legs and function like earth folks, and now you give me alien cow and alien fox?? Woowwwww dat originality

But all in all I was still fangirling through the film and I really cried when Leia was almost dead and I sooo cried in the end when the “in loving memory” came and I stayed through the entire credits just to listen to the music

It’s still star wars -_(-_-)_- not sure yet whether I’ll accept it as canon, but it wasn’t as bad as cursed child was for HP xD
