Here's something new! Let's talk about how personal Associations work for us!

Keep in mind you'll be speaking for yourself and please mind your craft!

This post will hopefully help some baby witches learn how to put their own personal Associations on things!

I'll start! For me, since I work with energy a lot, each item has the meaning of whatever energy I put into it. So like lemons! I associate them with fortune luck and wealth as well as love and happiness. Why?

Back when I was a kid I used to make lemonade with my mom and sell it on the little street I grew up on.

Because of this I'd make a few dollars at a quarter a cup.

Those memories create the association to wealth and happiness and thus that's the energy I put into lemons. You could also say the lemons color reminds me of gold and thus fortune/wealth.

That's how most of my personal Associations happen, it's based on memories anf the feelings those memories bring out.

Random observation:

I feel like fresh cilantro is very grounding for me. The taste of it is very earthy and sort of fills my sinuses with its scent, and that makes me feel very present in the moment of eating it.

I’m just gonna take note of that in case it proves useful later on! :P
