The Blended Grove theme is just. So fucking relaxing.

Darkmoor’s Tragedy theme is… there’s just nothing exactly like it in the game, it’s such a “oh, we’re in it now,” moment.

I don’t know how the Mortal Plain Combat theme manages to feel so serious and so silly at the same time. I think the sound of humans clapping/snapping is a really fun touch.

THE WALLARU DREAMING COMBAT. The bit at 0:45 SCRATCHES MY BRAIN SO GOOD. I like how the little melody just breaks through everything.

I’m sorry, Billabong Resort is so goofy as a field theme and I adore it. Suddenly, the 1920s appeared.

Probably doesn’t count, but Nelson Everhart’s remix of the Smuggler’s Arena is sooooo good.

But for me the best track will always be the Original Golem Tower theme. So much mystery…

Idk how common of a take this is, but the writing in Wizard101 is miles better when the game is taking itself at least a little bit serious. OG wizard city wasn't re inventing the wheel but it was good enough for it to emotionally resonate with most of the core audience. Cause the game didn't condescend to the player base.

This is why I say the situation is ableist. Not that KI is ableist or Mr Beast is— (I wouldn’t be able to tell you with Mr Beast.) it’s that this is a social pattern that actively punishes neurodivergent people. (mostly autistic but there’s overlap and extenuating circumstances, not all neurodivergent people are the same)

It’s the desire people have to gawk at people expressing themselves freely and then “fix” it to make it more socially acceptable, because they can’t stand the idea of not understanding something.
